Beneficial Microbes are enhanced with Bio-Nutrient media for increased microbial growth. The combination of Lymnozyme and WSR beneficial microbes gives ShrimpShield the advantage of being both a Probiotic and an advanced water conditioner. When introduced into Aquaculture ponds ShrimpShield creates competition with gram negative bacteria and replaces it with bacteria that are beneficial to the inhabitants. ShrimpShield produces small peptides that aide in the displacement of pathogens of fish and shellfish. ShrimpShield creates a natural, beneficial Bio-Floc, while controlling ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. ShrimpShield digests organic solids and bottom sludge.
